She started out acting as an actress and has since played small roles and as guest actors in theatre productions as well as TV shows. As the World Rotates was one of her very first major parts. The series was about medical and legal careers. Then she became famous as the character Jenny Griffith on the legal drama Suits. Harvey Specter a legal expert and Mike, his assistant solved cases in this show. It was considered a success by critics and was awarded numerous prizes. Blue Bloods is another of her works. The show received a lot of praise and reviews were mostly positive. Ray was also in several films, such as Not Waving But Drowning and The Rumperbutts.
