Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos (Canadian actress) is Tracy Spiridakos. She played Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's comedy show Majority Rules! From 2009 until 2010 she was the lead character Becky Richards in the Teletoon children's comedy series Majority Rules! From 2009 to 2010, she was a star in the role of Charlotte Matheson (Charlie) on the NBC series Revolution, a post-apocalyptic science-fiction series. She was nominated for win a Saturn Award as Best Actress on Television. She was Annika Johnson in the A&E television show Bates Motel. Spiridakos starred as Detective Hailey Upton in the A&E television drama Bates Motel. Spiridakos is the character the role of Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba by George Spiridakos and Anastasia Spiridakos, Greek-born restaurant owners. Spiridakos has two brothers. Following her birth, her family relocated to Skala, Greece, south of Sparta. They returned to Canada in 1992. She feels strongly linked to her Greek roots, and is fluent in Greek. Spiridakos began acting at her junior high school. She continued her studies at the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. She was a graduate of Oak Park High School in Winnipeg in 2000. Spiridakos left Winnipeg to pursue acting in 2007 to pursue acting. She got her first TV role on Supernatural within a few weeks. She continued to work on television with walk-on roles on Bionic Woman's The L Word, Hellcats, Psych and other shows. Spiridakos played in the TV film Goblin as well as the web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She also played a recurring part on Being Human as werewolf Brynn McLean.In 2009, she was awarded her first leading role in the Canadian Teletoon series Majority Rules!, playing 15-year-old Becky Richards. Her feature film debut was in the year 2011 with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. In Kill for Me, she starred alongside Katie Cassidy and Donal Logue. Spiridakos was Sammi in Rags, the first Nickelodeon original film. Spiridakos was then offered the main role in Revolution in the role of Charlotte Matheson (survivor in the dystopian future) and telecast on NBC television. The role was offered to her when she attended her first pilot season in Los Angeles. Spiridakos produced the pilot in Atlanta and the pilot season in Wilmington. Her performance in the first season of the show was nominated her for an Saturn Award as Best Actress on TV. She was, however, a loser to the actress from Fringe, Anna Torv. The second season was shot in Austin, Texas.
