Robin Gayle

Robin Gayle Wright was born in Dallas, Texas, to Gayle (Gaston), a national director at Mary Kay, and Freddie Wright, a pharmaceutical executive. She was raised in San Diego, California. At 14 years old, she started her professional career as a model. She worked in Paris as well as Japan. She chose to become an actress when she finished high school. She was given a role on Santa Barbara's soap opera (1984) and was nominated for three Daytime Emmy Awards. In the first season the show, she began to fall in love with fellow cast member Dane Witherspoon, whom she got married in 1986. In 1987, she appeared in the role of the title character in The Princess Bride. She was in the role of Santa Barbara but left to be a part of Denial (1990) alongside Jason Patric. In 1990, she appeared playing the role of State of Grace (1990) in which she was introduced to actor Sean Penn, by whom she had a daughter named Dylan Frances, and a son, Hopper Jack. Robin was back in Hollywood with Tara, one of the most important roles in her career, after taking an absence. She was stunning and stunning. She was in Toys (1992), an comedy that starred Robin Williams. It was hilarious. Wright was in the blockbuster smash Forrest Gump (1994), co-starring with Tom Hanks. She received a nomination for the Golden Globe Award in recognition of her performance as Jenny. She was offered a small role in The Crossing Guard (1995) along with Jack Nicholson. After a string of rejections, she finally got the main role played by MGM/UA's Moll Flanders (1996). Pen Densham directed her and Stockard Channing played the role. She then starred alongside William Hurt in Erin Dignam’s Loved (1997).
