Morgan was born on July 2nd, 1989 to Pamela Morgan and Michael Morgan. They raised her and her two sisters, Jeni and Jeri, in the Los Angeles suburb of Diamond Bar. Morgan played a variety of sports throughout her childhood but didn't really like soccer until she turned 14. She then became a member of the Cypress Elite club team, winning the Coast Soccer League under-16 championship and finishing in third in the under-19 bracket. Morgan continued to develop her soccer skills at Diamond Bar High School. She was chosen as an All-American Athlete by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
